KAFO

Custom made knee ankle foot orthoses (KAFO) by Ortho Baltic, extend from the upper thigh down the leg to the foot with supplemented knee joint.  It has a rigid upper and stable patella support system. KAFO may be designed with carbon fibre spring joint at the ankle, eliminating the need for bulky joints by utilising “energy return” effect of carbon fibre in the best possible way and making the gait of the patient smooth and confident. Cuffs made from Dyneema^® ensure firm support and durability even when opening the cuffs at the extreme angles.
